The International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN)—a global network that brings together the world’s leading investors and experts to promote high standards of corporate governance and responsible business conduct internationally—recently published the shortlist for the “ICGN Excellence in Corporate Governance Award 2025”, one of the most prestigious awards recognizing individuals and organizations that embody best practices in governance and global stewardship, demonstrating how the “G” in governance is essential for long-term success.
Among the selected names is Chilean executive Susana Sierra, CEO of BH Compliance and former president of Chile Transparente, recognized for her career promoting transparency, integrity, and good practices in organizations across various countries. Sierra will compete in the Excellence in Corporate Governance – Individuals category, where she shares the spotlight with Traore Bakari (Côte d’Ivoire), Dr. Niraj Gupta (India), Amaka Ibeji (USA), Domenica Lista (Italy), and Marta Viegas (USA/Brazil).
“Being on this list is already an enormous source of pride and a motivation to continue driving strong corporate governance. It is a recognition of the work we have done for years alongside a great team. With this, I already feel like a winner—especially when I see the other women included on the list,” the Chilean executive said.
The awards ceremony will take place in December in London.
