Based in Miami, Susana Sierra, CEO of BH Compliance, has established herself as a leading voice in corporate governance, risk management, and compliance, while pioneering the use of technology to strengthen corporate integrity and combat corruption in the private sector.
On April 27, at a ceremony held in London, United Kingdom, Sierra was named “CEO of the Year” by the Women in Governance, Risk and Compliance Series in recognition of her outstanding leadership and contributions to governance, risk management, and compliance.
Award recipients were selected by a distinguished panel of judges comprising leading governance, risk, and compliance professionals from around the world. Candidates were evaluated based on their professional achievements, leadership, and contributions to advancing the profession.
In addition to leading BH Compliance, Sierra serves on the Board of Directors of AmCham Chile and served as Chair of Chile Transparente until October 2022. Throughout her career, she has become a recognized advocate for corporate compliance, anti-corruption initiatives in the private sector, and stronger corporate governance practices that enhance the role of business in society.

Since relocating to Miami in December 2021, Sierra has led BH Compliance’s expansion across the Americas, supporting multinational companies with operations throughout Latin America. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Financial & International Business Association (FIBA), headquartered in Florida, whose members include leading financial institutions such as JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, and Morgan Stanley.
